The students in the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology at Korea University will initially
learn the basic knowledge in many branches of science and acquire the up-to-date knowledge in the
fields of life sciences, biotechnology, food science, environmental science and industry management
through the curricula emphasizing both theoretical and experimental subjects. Thus, the students will
be trained to possess the ability to perform creative and interdisciplinary research in the basic as well
as applied sciences.
The College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology is financially supported by the Brain Korea 21
program from the Korean Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. Students in the
College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology will experience the best education system in Korea
through the team-teaching oriented advanced lectures and hands-on experiences in laboratories
equipped with the most advanced facilities.
