The College of Education was launched in 1972, but its spiritual roots go all the way back to 1905, when Korea University (then Bosung College) was founded under the banner "Education Saves the Country. "The College's mission in the 1990s is to train future educators and human resource development experts for work not only in the nation's schools, but also in local community organizations, government agencies, and private industry.
