In 1987 Korea University concluded an Agreement of Student Exchange with the
ISEP (International Student Exchange Program),
a membership organization of worldwide
higher education institutions located
in Washington, D.C., dedicated to fostering
extensive and dynamic exchange activities.
Since 1987, Korea University has worked
closely with ISEP for the initiation of
student exchanges and sent its first students
to study abroad in 1988. During the past
decade, we have greatly enjoyed educating
many U.S. students from member institutions
and having them learn about Korea and
its varied history, culture, traditions,
and society from the past to the present.
Korea University provides participants
with the benefits of housing and meals
that the ISEP lays out in the program
description. Additionally, it offers the
special benefit of complimentary intensive
Korean Language courses in the regular
semesters and the intercessions. At our
university on-campus housing is guaranteed
for ISEP students and university facilities
can be used in the same manner as all
KU registered students.
To apply for ISEP at Korea University
please consult an ISEP coordinator of
your university.
