The Institute for Continuing Education can be found in the KU Lyceum. The Institute was formed to honor the aspirations of the school¡¯s founders to offer open and continuing education to the Korean people. The building, constructed in 2001, covers 26,610 square meters, stands six-stories high and contains a book and stationary store, travel agency, copy center, optician, insurance company, florist, photo shop, computer shop and mobile phone shop. .
 
The Tiger Plaza was built to commemorate the university¡¯s 100th anniversary and provide a place for KU students and the increasing number of foreign students and faculty members to mix together and relax.
The four-story high glass curtain-wall building hosts fast food and fusion food restaurants, a coffee shop, sports cafe and a student lounge called the Global Leader¡¯s Club, offering internet access and global news updates.
