| The tiger is the mascot and symbolic
animal of Korea University, and of Korea as
a whole. The tiger represents strength, courage
and bravery. The statue of the tiger sitting
atop the globe reflects not only an aspiration
to succeed, but also a recognition that the
University's mission is a global one. |
