improvements in their papers, this program awards testimonials and
academic subsidies worth KRW 2.0 million to each prize-winning entry.

Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS)
HOMEPAGE
GSIS was established in 1991 in response to the
growing trend towards globalization and internationalization. It offers Master' s degrees in both International
and Korean Studies and in five subject tracks: International Commerce, International Organizations,
International Finance, International Security, and International Electronic Commerce. GSIS recognizes
the importance of both pure and applied studies and research. To achieve a proper balance between
theoretical and practical training, we have appointed world-class experts and practitioners in each subject
field--including five distinguished professors and more than 20 visiting and adjunct professors. All courses
offered at GSIS are taught in English. In addition, we are a full member of the Association of Professional
Schools of International Affairs, which comprises 29 member schools in the USA, Asia, and Europe.
Graduate School of Information Management & Security (GSIMS) | GSIMS was established in July
2000 to contribute to the advancement of R&D in the information security (IS) sector, the development of
related industries in Korea, and the cultivation of professional experts in IS. Its main interests include R&D
in cryptography (a core technology in any knowledge-based, information-oriented society), IS protocols
and systems, and theory development. We produce top-tier IMS experts who can provide leadership in
creating a safe and secure knowledge- and information-based society by developing technologies and
policies in the management, industrial engineering, information security, and information system sectors.
Our faculty members are renowned for their scholarship and research abilities, and we have developed
state-of-the-art infrastructures. These include the Information Security Research Center (ISRC), which was
designated an "excellent research center" by the Ministry of Information and Communications, research
rooms designated by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry
and Energy, and the Ministry of Labor, and a number of high-quality research institutes.

Graduate School of Business Administration (KUBS) HOMEPAGE
| This facility was established to increase the
qualifications of company managers by means of in-depth studies in Business Administration and training
in advanced business management techniques. We offer Master' s, research, CEO, and CEO information
and communications programs. We have established collaborative programs with Washington University,
Harvard University, Stanford University, and George Washington University in the USA, Aix-Marseille
University in France, and Yanbian University in China, and publish the nation' s only business administration
newspaper. Our highly-regarded, cooperative industrial-academic-research courses program produces
top-quality scholars and researchers, and we participate in academic exchanges with the world' s most
prestigious graduate schools. We also offer the Wharton-KUBS Executive Education Program, targeting
top-flight Korean and international corporate executives.
